Qualifications:

BA (hons) Architecture, University of Ulster, Class of 2010

Awards achieved: 2:1, Progression Award in 2009 for second year of study

Theory behind your work: I want to become an architect who centres their design focus around the client, and works to their needs/aspirations. I use sketching and model making to best communicate my design ideas. I also have knowledge of CAD and Photoshop. I have an interest in the application of music and architecture and how these two disciplines work to support one another. My dissertation was based on this theory and I would love to work on a theatrical design/performance space. I recently performed in an abstract piece at the University of Ulster's End of Year Show which informed the ideas that are discussed in my dissertation.

Are you in employment or looking for a job? Yes I am currently looking for a job. I'm now on a year out before returning to study Architecture at Masters level. I'm looking for a year out in placement with a medium/large architectural firm, willing to teach me the aspects of working in an office and the practicality of architecture outside of the design studio.
